“Briefly concerning the artist—Adolf Dehn this year traveled through the United States and Mexico on a Guggenheim Fellowship, is one of the greatest contemporary masters of lithography and water color, and has had his lithographs in the Fine Prints of the Year for eight successive years. His most recent water color is in the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Others are in the Whitney Museum, Brooklyn Museum, Newark Museum, Boston Museum, Addison Gallery, Minneapolis Institute of Fine Arts, Seattle Art Museum, Milwaukee Art Institute, San Francisco Museum, National Museum of Norway, British Museum in London, Kupferstich Kabinett in Berlin and Honolulu Academy of Fine Arts.
